New Arrival!!!!
We are bursting at the seams about the arrival of a brand-new-to-us line of sock yarns, BLUE MOON FIBER ARTS! Yes, you read that right, Twisted will now carry Socks That Rock - the locally hand-dyed yarn with an international, dare we say cult, following. It is, in a word, epic.

We will have Socks That Rock in all three weights (light, medium, and heavy) and the new Socks that Rock Silkie sock yarn. The lovely photos on the right (from BMFA's website) are but three of the nineteen colorways that will grace our shelves, with more on the way in the next few months. So come on in, fondle this incredible yarn, and make some gorgeous socks for that special someone in your life - YOU!

As many of you have commented in the last few months, we are master enablers and giddily happy in that role. So come Tuesday morning at 11am, all the Socks That Rock we currently have will be on the shelf and fair game. However, to prevent any confusion (or riots) we have just three little rules... 1) No earlies! We open at 11am. 2) No phone or internet orders for STR. 3) No holds on STR.

Superbowl Sunday!
Nothing against sportsball of any kind, but we are pretty nonplussed by all the hype about the Superbowl on February 3. Emily, for her part, is from Indiana so any flickers of interest died with the Colts. Shannon would just rather be knitting.

Anyway, we've had some inquiries about what Twisted is doing for the big day, and decided to offer an alternative entertainment option for those more interested in gauge swatches than gridirons. We'll be showing a movie starting at 1:00 pm, so come on over to get away from that danged football. It'll be a chick-flick, we haven't yet decided which one, but will post on the blog as we get closer to the date. Seating is limited for the movie, so come early and scope out a comfy chair! Popcorn, of course, will be provided.
