Here at Twisted, we are all stoked about 2009. It's going to be a great year! We have a full year and a half of business under our knitted belts, we have wonderful employees, fabulous yarns, lots of local products, and we are happy doing what we do.

This year, we'll have the first shop baby (Shannon is expecting in early April), which will bring its own unique challenges. If you'd like to help us celebrate, or have clever ideas for getting around child labor laws, watch the blog for more information about a crafty shower for Shannon, Stefan and their soon-to-be +1 here at the shop on Sunday, March 1 from 6-8pm.

TWISTED PATTERN LINE
		We launched our own line of patterns in late 2008, and now have 3 fantastic ones - Wine Bottle Accessories, Lacy Chain Socks, and Obamarama: A sock you can believe in! These can all be purchased via email/paypal, and will soon be available as Ravelry downloads. We are also working on new free patterns, such as the Three Easy Cowls, shown to the left.

NEW YARNS
O-Wool - 100% organic wools in 4 weights: sport, DK, worsted, and chunky. The colors on this yarn are amazing - Shannon has been dreaming of a log cabin blanket in the Classic Worsted. We also have Balance, which is a worsted 50-50 organic cotton-organic wool blend.
Hemp for Knitting - We now carry 2 yarns from Hemp for Knitting. Cashmere Canape (cotton, cashmere, hemp) and Hempwol (shockingly, comprised of hemp and wool). Both are amazing for sweaters, and hats, and cowls, and scarves...
Mini Mochi - a wickedly popular new yarn from Crystal Palace. Gradually fading stripes and a hugably soft single ply combine to make a yarn that is perfect for socks or shawls. If you love the look of Noro but don't love the texture, give Mini Mochi a try.
Sublime Angora Merino - Soft, fluffy, and oh-so-pretty! This DK weight luxurious yarn from Sublime would make a great hat and scarf set. We also have the matching Angora Merino pattern book.
PacaPeds - a fingering weight sock yarn from The Alpaca Yarn Company. I mean, really. How can you resist? 20% Alpaca, 65% Superwash Wool and 15% Nylon for softness and durability.
Sheep Feet - DK weight sock yarn from the Sheep Shop. Fantastic colors and nice, springy ply reminicent of BMFA STR. This is the one that Emily went "eep" over. Wait, aren't we missing a few skeins of the purpley-browny-heavenly color? Where did that go? Did someone say Green Gable?
