Intro to Lace Workshop, Saturday, Sept 27. 3:00 - 5:00 pm. $20.
Materials: One skein Cherry Tree Hill Supersock fingering weight (or about 450 yards of any other fingering weight yarn, a solid color & not too dark), US 3 needles, stitch markers, darning needle. Please bring to class a small swatch or sample of your knitting. Includes: Japanese Vines pattern by Michelle Molis. Skills learned: Yarn over, slip-slip-knit, reading a lace chart.
Learn to Crochet / Crocheted Flowers, Thursday, Sept 25. 5:00 - 8:00 pm. $30.
No prior crochet knowledge needed! Class project is small crocheted flowers. Materials: Size H Susan Bates Quicksilver crochet hook, plus $5 materials fee payable to teacher. Includes: Yarn for project, hand out. Skills learned: Chain, single crochet, double crochet.
Bead and Wire Crochet Jewelry Workshop, Sunday, September 28. 3:00 - 5:00 pm. $20.
No prior crochet knowledge needed - uses only chaining. Materials: $3 cash for materials fee payable to teacher, plus one spool 28 gauge wire, size G - I crochet hook (your choice). Skills learned: Chain stitch.
We also have Sunday afternoon and Thursday night studio classes. For both studio classes, preference will be given to people who sign up for the whole month, but after the month has begun spaces will be open on a week-by-week/drop-in basis now, as well. Just give us a call to make sure there's room - classes are still limited to six people.
