Next weekend is Labor Day and that can only mean one thing... fall is here. And that can only mean two things... no more wearing white AND time to start knitting!
So, come visit us Tuesday - Friday 11am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-6pm.

FALL CLASS SCHEDULE
|

|
|
Our fall class list is here and better than ever!
We're adding a Thursday night studio class, in addition to the popular Sunday afternoon one. For both studio classes, preference will be given to people who sign up for the whole month, but after the month has begun spaces will be open on a week-by-week/drop-in basis now, as well. Just give us a call to make sure there's room - classes are still limited to six people.
By popular demand, we'll be offering a class on the easy and stylish Zephyr Style sweater Green Gable. That'll be Saturdays, October 4, 11 and 18. Other classes coming up soon are Toe-up Socks on Wednesdays, September 3, 10, 17; Temari balls on Sunday, September 7; Bead and Wire Crochet Jewelry on Sunday, September 28; and Intro to Lace on Saturday, September 27.
Check out the schedule and give us a call to register at 503-922-1150.

PRODUCT UPDATES
|
Since the last newsletter, we've had a major influx of Malabrigo. We have worsted, chunky, Silky Merino, and lace. And, the rumors are true, we have two advanced skeins of the new sock yarn that we'll let you pet if you promise not to drool on it. We have a bag of each of the 24 colors on order, which should put us in the first wave of shipments... however the ETA for that is still a few months out.
We also have quite a bit of Yarntini sock yarn left. One change - that will no longer be available for mail order as Yarntini has a great internet site of her own. All the more reason to come visit Twisted in person.
There are several new local designers in our repetoire these days. Flower Pie hand-makes practical and stylish needlecases. Michele Bernstein offers us several cute patterns, including the popular Slip-Stitch Tote. Leethal creates recycled jewelry from old plastic knitting needles and stitch marker charms!
Finally, we now have an array of scrumptious, made-from-scratch cookies from Fairlight Bakery in Vancouver, WA. It's all about the Vanilla Frosted Cream with sprinkles. Yummy.

The last assassin standing will be awarded $500 worth of SWTC yarn! Enlistment is now open and battle commences on September 16, 2008. Learn more and sign up at the Hat Attack website and stop by Twisted to stock up on ammo (Therapi yarn and needles)!
