Regardless of your level of skill, anyone who knits has probably dealt with the aches and pains associated with working on a project for too long. How can you avoid it? What are good posture habits to have while knitting? In this class, we will experience what it is like to work in a way that is most gentle on our bodies. Using gentle movement, stretches and attention to our breathing we will learn how to keep our bodies fresh and pain free while knitting. Topics that will also be addressed include: how to sit in a chair correctly, how to identify signs of injury, how to care for your body while knitting and more.
