Learn to knit brioche- a stitch that defines squooshiness!

Brioche is a knitting stitch with a pattern language all of its own.  It can be a little tricky, but once you master it – you’ll love it.  Parna will guide you through the basics and get you started on this cute pattern designed by Haven Leavitt.  The fabric created has a stretchy loveliness like nothing else.

Want to learn the secret behind the lovely looking brioche stitch? This class will cover the basic technique involved in brioche (both one color and two color brioche), and also provide you with an easy beginner brioche pattern to help you practice this new stitch.  This class is listed as an intermediate level, but is also a great class for the adventurous advanced beginner!

Date/Time: Saturdays, July 13 & 20; 2-3:30 pm

Materials – Either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off on: 2 skeins (200-240 yards each) worsted weight yarn, 24″ US #8 (5mm) circular needles. Two colors of scrap yarn for practicing the brioche stitch (both in the same weight) separate from the yarn for your hat.
