Have you, like the rest of us, been lusting over Vivian’s gorgeous String Theory scarf?
It’s not a difficult pattern to knit, but it employs some rather unusual techniques. After much demand and clamor, Vivian has agreed to teach a mini-workshop to cover all the techniques used in the project and set you up for success:
String Theory (in Practice)
$30 with Vivian Aubrey
This one-day workshop is a techniques-only class that covers the special skills used in the String Theory cowl pattern, plus some troubleshooting methods for common problems. This class is not intended to create the entire garment, rather it is an introduction in which you will make a miniature version of the cowl, but it will cover all the elements of the project. You will have enough yarn to make the DK version of finished cowl after the class.
Date/Time: Sunday, Mar 11, 9:30am-12:30pm
Materials – either bring your own or before/during class get 20% off on: 16″ US 7 needles and 400 – 520 yards smooth (i.e. not mohair or novelty) DK weight yarn. Gauge is not important for this project.
