Class Round-Up: Week of 5/30 – 6/5
We’ve got lots of great classes coming up, and they all still have room in them for you to learn and enjoy!
Learn to Crochet / Crocheted Flowers
No prior crochet knowledge needed! Class project is small crocheted flowers which can later be transformed into brooches or barrettes!
Wednesday, June 1. 5:00-8:00 pm.

Materials: Size H Susan Bates Quicksilver crochet hook, plus $5 materials fee payable to teacher.
Includes: Yarn for project, hand out
Skills learned: Chain, single crochet, double crochet
Sivia Harding Clinic
– Beginner level and up.
Clinics are drop-in, and cost just $10 an hour. Of course, having said that, you can always pre-register if you’d like, for as little as an hour, or as long as 4. Sivia can help you with pretty much any knitting problem you may have. She’ll get you all straightened out, no worries!

Show the World with your DSLR!
All the same essential topics will be covered as in the basic Show the World class, but tailor-made for the nuance that a digital single-lens reflex camera offers you. This class is for the photography neophyte who really wants to expand their mastery to create the photos they intend. Bring your manual and spend some time with your camera before class
to familiarize yourself with how to access your ISO settings, white balance, shutter speed and aperture. Bring something to photograph, a laptop computer (if you have one), your computer-to-camera cord and a sense of adventure!

Materials: camera, camera manual if you have it, USB or card reader for hooking your camera to a computer, and an item (or two or three or…) to photograph — this can be yarn, a knitted/crocheted project, or any
other object that you want to experiment with!
Kids Learn to Knit
Covers knitting, purling, casting on, and binding off in shorter 1 hour classes. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

Materials: US #10 straight needles, worsted-weight wool (preferably plain-colored and not too dark).
Skills learned: knit, purl, cast on, bind off.
Knitting Studio
– Beginner level and up.
Pick your own project and get help with whatever you need or whatever strikes your fancy. People in this class should already know the basics of knitting and how to read a pattern. Just give us a call to check availability and sign up.
