Amazing Crochet Doily Wedding Dress

As a few of you might know, I’m planning a wedding right now, which means I waste spend almost as much time on wedding blogs as I do on knitting ones. When this wedding was posted the other day over at 100 Layer Cake, I knew I had to share it with the Twisted community. It makes me sad that I’m not making my wedding dress… and not a better crocheter! (Mine would be entirely single-crochet circles, haha.)

Gorgeous, right?? The bride made the whole thing herself, even the pattern for the fabric underlayer, and did all the crocheting in 3 weeks (finishing up just in time for the ceremony.) You can see more pictures in the original post.

    gorgeous! (and i bet you could pull it off, if you want to (some might say) bite off more than you can chew?) AND you might even be able to find some other knitters somewhere to help you…:)

    I would, too, if I hadn’t already half-paid for the one I’m having made for me, haha.
