This time, she has presented an engaging and utterly simple method for making toe up socks. By taking socks back to kindergarten level, she allows all of us to delight in making our socks with childlike abandon. At her most inventive yet, she gives us a no-fail method for making socks without any math or numbers.

Impossible, you say? Thrillingly possible, I say. I made my first Personal Footprint sock a few months ago, and what excites me most is the ease of inserting design ideas into the construction. Whether you decide to make plain or fancy socks with this method however, all of the socks made this way are guaranteed to be happily knit socks.
