New yarns for summer

We’ve got two lovely new summer yarns to share with you!

algarve.jpgFirst is a mercerized, light worsted cotton from Austermann – Algarve Grande. A great selection of colors perfect for summer tops, bags, kids garments… you name it. There are approximately 105 yards per 50 gram ball, and it knits up on US 6 (4 mm) to US 7 (4.5 mm), yielding 5 stitches per inch.

savanna.jpgThe second is a DK weight linen/cotton/rayon blend from Zitron – Savanna. Here is a light, soft yarn that you’ll fall in love with. It is 60% cotton, 20% linen, and 20% Rayon. It knits up on US 5-7 needles yielding 5.25-6 stitches per inch.
