Superbulky Malabrigo
A fresh shipment of Malabrigo has arrived at Twisted. We have the worsted and chunky you’ve grown to love… but wait – there’s more! Yes, it’s true, by popular demand we are now carrying Malabrigo’s superbulky think and thin yarns Aquarella and Gruesa.
Both Aquarella and Gruessa are 100% merino, single ply yarns that come 65 yards (59 meters) to a 100 gram skein. The gauge is 9 sts/ 4 inches on a US 13. As with all Malabrigo, they are incredibly, luxuriously, heavenly soft.
Aquarella comes in 10 “water colored” combinations. Here’s the Ravelry page on it (must be logged in to Ravelry). It is $14.
Gruesa is the same yarn dyed in bright semi-solids. Here’s the Ravelry page on it (must be logged in to Ravelry). It is $12.
Due to the hand dyeing process, each hank within the bag is unique. There may be wide variations in tone from hank to hank. We recommend that you knit with two hanks at a time in order to balance the color.
