Obamarama!

To celebrate the inauguration of our 44th president, Twisted has cooked up a great sock pattern and kit. Behold Obamarama – a sock you can believe in!

This pattern is worked from the cuff down starting flat with the intarsia pattern, then joined to knit in the round with a heel flap. The toe sports 13 stripes like Old Glory.

The pattern is $4, the kit (using Gems Sport) is $25. As always, we love mail order – just send an email to info@twistedpdx.com and we’ll send you a paypal invoice. Shipping is $5 for orders under $100.

    How unfortunate knitting has become political. Not everyone has gone goo goo and lost all their reasonability over THE ONE.

    Personally, I think you should do a “W” cowl to be fair and balanced… A complicated, endless spiral surrounding a big, vacant hole.

    @natasha,
    And what an even sadder day that some folks would try to dampen the hope and appreciation of millions around the world, welcoming the return of a government based on reason and science over one characterized by lies and influenced by ignorant and superstitious morons. Lost my reasonability? Au contraire, I’ve gone googoo for reason–I’m delighted to see its return! Give me reason and hope over fear and corruption any day. And give me socks to show my stripes! Heya, Twisted!
