Urgent Knitterly Request

One of our regulars, Gail, asked us to spread the word about this last-minute, but urgent donation request:

Knitters Unite!
Needles and yarn are needed for Portland’s sister city, Mutare, Zimbabwe. Donations will benefit FASO (Family AIDS Service Organization) and will be used by women with HIV/AIDS to create a Cottage Industry, knitting items to sell for income.

Needed by: Saturday, October 11. A group of 19 people from Portland, on behalf of Africa AIDS Response, will take donations to Zimbabwe.

If you can help, please drop off yarns and needles here at Twisted. Thank you!

    Natural fiber/synthetic? Any weight?
