Have you heard the buzz? The incomparable addi needles are introducing something new and exciting - an interchangeable set!

addi-click.jpgThe addi Click system provides 10 different sizes of addi Turbo™ tips (US 4 – US 15), three different lengths of our new, extremely pliable blue cord (24”, 32” and 40”), and one connector piece which helps to either store stitches or combine your cords. The Click tips require no tools to change; simply insert the cord deep into the tip, twist and release. The tips will remain secure until you change them.

addi Clicks will arrive at Twisted by Mid-October, and a limited supply will be available at that time. These puppies are hot already, knitters! We are taking pre-orders for addi Click sets - just give us a call (503.922.1150) or stop in. The retail price of a set of addi Clicks will be $150.00, and, in order to pre-order, we will require a 50% deposit ($75.00).

    so, are the tips plastic or metal? it’s hard to tell in the picture, and they kind of look like plastic :)

    The tips are the regular metal addi turbo tips that you’ve come to know and love.

    We’ve heard from Skacel that these are up to addi quality standards with a great join. We won’t have any to see for ourselves till the order arrives in mid-October, though!

    We definitely plan to carry the Addi Click sets long term. The reason for the pre-orders is that Skacel has put a 10 set maximum on each shop’s first order due to the overwhelming demand. So, if you want to guarantee you get one of the first sets when they arrive in mid-October you should pre-order. If you’re not in a hurry, we should have more sets by some time in November. Pretty exciting news for all of us knitting geeks, huh?!

    AAAAHHHH! I just, I mean just like 3 weeks ago, bought a knit picks set. Teach me to be late reading my emails. Though the Addi’s are a bit more expensive than the knit picks. Maybe some day…
