Brachs Socks
Does anyone remember Trekking 126? The Brach’s Candy-colored sock yarn? It was all the rage a few years ago, and Zitron discontinued it, dismantled the machine, and that was it. Until now. We got a call last week that some Trekking 126 was mysteriously found. Did we want some? Oh, heck, yeah!
I got my hands on some of this yarn years ago, and made myself a pair of socks:
It’s a gorgeous colorway, and one that has been popular for a long time. At one point, shortly after it had sold out practically everywhere, there was a lone ball on Ebay that ended up selling for over $40. Wowza. Your friendly neighborhood Twisted has a bunch of it in stock now, but we probably won’t be able to get more once this shipment is gone.
Oh no! I had no idea what I had. A lonely little ball of this was wobbling around in my stash cabinet and I traded it with a gal on Ravelry……… if I had know it would work up so purdy I would have selfishly hoarded it!
