Welcome, Kate!
We’d like to welcome our very first employee, Kate!
Kate graduated from UCSD this past year and moved up to Portland after seeing how amazing it was when she visited for a weekend to research her thesis. She is an incredible crafty young chica with tons of yarn store experience. She is obsessed with Dream in Color (and hats?).
She also has an adorable, if potentially evil, kitty named Beatrix.

did she tell you how we met a few months ago after we’d both moved up here, then it turned out we went to the same school and i might have even trained her at the radio station many years ago? crazy coincidence… things like that always seem to happen in portland!
