Contest to celebrate opening

Yes, we’re opening very very soon. We don’t want to jinx anything or count our chickens before they’re hatched, but just one more inspection stands between us and utter legality… As soon as we’re good to go we’ll send out a newsletter with our official opening date.

To keep you busy until then, here is a special contest to celebrate our opening. In fact, we’re so excited let’s make it two!

Contest #1

The question: How many skeins/balls of yarn will Twisted have in stock on opening day?

The prize: One skein of the exclusive Twisted colorway from Zen String and a Skacel needle gauge.

Contest #2

Twistini
The question: How many flavors of tea will Twisted offer on opening day?

The prize: One skein of the Twistini colorway from Yarntini and a Skacel needle gauge.

Enter the contests.

Entries will be accepted through Friday, June 29 at 11am Pacific Time. These contests will be in addition to our regular monthly contests (more on those later). One entry per person, por favor. Closest person will win (whether over or under – it’s not The Price Is Right). We’ll even mail it to you free if you’re in the US, but it will be via the postal service’s slowest snail.

    Well, you set a day to open, yay! I walked by the other evening, and there were folks with their noses pressed to the window checking it out – the neighborhood is abuzz :)

    Hi Girls!!!
    So glad that you will be opening on Emily’s birthday and the weekend of Shannon and Stefans 1st wedding anniversary. Last year at this time we were all excited about the wedding and this year we are all soooooo excited about the opening of Twisted!!!!! Late June and Early July are wonderful times in our lives. New baby too!!! Sasha Montana Squire welcome to the world!!!

    Oooh, just in time! The LYS here in Oregon City (The Cozy Ewe) just closed its doors :( My guess is 2,000 skeins of yarn and 17 flavors of tea.

    I am so happy for you. We will be arriving in London that day but our hearts will be in Portland! My guess is 6,500 skeins of yarn and 37 flavors of tea.

    Oh wonderful!! A new shop and it’s near dance class. We will probably be stopping in tomorrow morning some time.

    Shannon and Emily, you have come a long way from the halls of 7-D. Leda and I cannot wait to come to the store–hopefully this week-end.
