Where is Twisted?

Twisted is located at 2310 NE Broadway, in the Irvington-Sullivan’s Gulch neighborhood of Portland. Twisted has brown paper on the windows, and a heck of a lot of tools laying around inside. Twisted is a bit dusty right now. Twisted is a lovely space, with big old wonderful windows that look out on the vibrant and pedestrian-friendly Broadway Avenue. Twisted is next door to the Rose and Thistle, a Portland institution, and down the street from Costello’s Travel Cafe. Twisted is a work-in-progress, and will be opening in May 2007.

Congrats! I just got the first newsletter, and the front page of the web site already looks lovely.

It seems like you’ve jumped through most of the hoops - now comes the actual work to get the shop ready for opening day. Good luck!

Wow! It looks like a great space. We’re making plans to be there for the grand opening and are so looking forward to it.
Of course there’s a lot of work between now and then but it sounds like you’re keeping it fun.
    See you in May!

Wow!! That space rocks!! I am very excited to see the transformation from the empty canvas to the twisted store layout. This place is going to be great, too bad Cleveland and Portland are about 2500 miles apart. I guess I can’t stop in for some morning tea before work.

I agree with Ray, that girl in the middle photo is intriguing.

    Shannon and Emily!
What a wonderful space for your yarn and craft store!!!!I can’t wait to sit inside and enjoy a “spot of tea”, as our English ancestors would say!!!
You women are amazing and I, for one am proud to know you!!!
We wish you great success and will be there for your grand opening and will share your joy (in spirit) during the rest of the year.
You continue both family’s traditions of enjoying family and friends and of providing a warm and welcoming gathering space!!!
    Love to you both!

Hey, I am the owner of Bella Stella, the kids store up the street- I just wanted to tell you how excited I am about you guys opening up. I carry lots of crafty-mama things and am excited to see Broadway open up as a crafty sort of place. Welcome to the neighborhood. Yay!
